Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!!

Thank you so much for allowing me to participate in NCL's "Seminar at Sea." This was my first Norwegian cruise, and I was so pleasantly surprised with the Norwegian Sun and with freestyle cruising!! I thoroughly enjoyed them both!!

In addition to so many of the normal cruise activities, I did something different on this cruise: I enrolled in the "Kick Start" physical fitness program aboard ship. It cost $25 for five group sessions with their personal trainers. The female instructors and the exercise rooms were terrific!! During the second day of class, my name was drawn for a free shore excursion. Since I had already purchased my shore excursions, I got $57 back for the Belize one. I could have gotten a more expensive one free, but this was the only excursion that Nan and I planned together. At the end of the week, everyone in the "Kick Start" program got a free t-shirt, so I actually profitted...in more ways than one...from this $25 investment!!

In addition to those sessions, I thoroughly enjoyed the yoga classes, exercise classes, and the many, many scheduled group walks around the ship in the mornings and late afternoons. I absolutely loved the bright, whimsical paintings on all the outside walls of Deck 6, which was one of the decks designated for walking/jogging. Those painting, along with the outside chilled water fountains, made those walks even more enjoyable!! Such fun!!! A great boost for the heart and soul!!

The feeling/atmosphere aboard the ship during this particular sailing was that of special one extended by a cordial, caring, and happy family. The captain set the example and standard for all the crew with his genuinely sincere, unassuming, and gracious manner. (After being introduced to the captain at the seminar, I saw him on the elevator and in Pacific Heights, while he was eating a pizza. Each time, he asked about my day and my thoughts on the ship and cruise.) Likewise, every staff member that I met was so warm; they were always friendly and helpful and rendered exceptional service with smiles.

The food, especially in the speciality dining rooms, was delectable. (The chocolate fondue in Le Bistro was just as Fran had described it: too yummy and not enough room in the tummy to eat it all!!) Nan and I also enjoyed dinner in IL Adagio, East Meets West, and the Pacific Heights. I loved these options and the people we met there!! Such class!!

The showtime entertainment was great!! The Jean Ann Ryan Company presented three first-class, "SUPER WOW" productions!! During the other nights, the comedian and juggler were so funny. (Michael Jones, one of the performers from L.A., sat beside me during the transfer from the airport. He was a friendly face that I kept running into on the ship. He introduced Nan and me to the juggler and one of the Jean Ann Ryan dancers. Again, such "next-door-neighbor" type of people, adding to the family atmosphere aboard the ship!)

I especially appreciated some of the amenities, such as the welcome aboard "white-glove" escort to the cabin and the free juice/water provided under a canopy while waiting for a return tender to the ship. They were unexpected, delightful surprises.

Needless to say, my first NCL experience ended on such a positive note with their relaxed style of debarkation.

What a joy! What an experience!!!

Again, thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!!

Sincerely,

Barbara L.

Hello, my name is Kevin C. We recently took the Princess Cruises' Voyage of the Glaciers for our honeymoon. It was the best vacation of our lives. Everything was taken care of for us by Amy Sinclair, our cruise specialist. We never even had to carry our luggage.

I was very impressed and will most definitely purchase another cruise through Abracadabra. The cruise itself was breathtaking! The land up there is virtually untouched by humans and it almost seems as though you are back in time during your visit. Our balcony was very private and I recommend one purchases a stateroom with a balcony...bring a jacket.

A friend and I took an Eastern Caribbean cruise from July 1 - 8, 2000.
We had a verandah suite for two on deck 6. on Holland America ZAANDAM.
Our cruise director was Susan Wood. Everything was absolutely wonderful. The service and all was just perfect. All accommandations were spotless all the time.

We met some of the nicest people from all over the world. We have become fast and great friends with people we stay in constant contact with. The meals were out of this world and the entertainment was fantastic. This is something I definately plan to do again. I intent to use Holland American Lines! They have very plush ships and have hired a great menagerie of crew to tend to your every whim. Can't wait to do it again. This is a wonderful to have the best of both worlds-You can travel to different places and never have to transport luggage!

I have the utmost respect for this line. I don't think I could have asked for anything but more hours in the day to enjoy my cruise !!!!!
OH, if our bodies didn't need to rest!???!!!!!

Sincerely,

My family and friends recently cruised on Carnival's "Imagination" ship (2/7 - 2/12) that cruised to Grand Cayman and Cancun, Mexico.

This ship is BEAUTIFUL! (and quite large) We had the best time ever! There were approximately 45 people in our group and all of us received first class treatment. The rooms were spacious (there were 2 adults and 2 teenagers in our room) and we weren't bumping into each other. The bathrooms were the largest I've seen on a ship (plenty of hot water, VERY large shower, and a great medicine cabinet to put all your stuff in to save counter space).

Our room steward was fabulous. The food was outstanding! (I personally ate 2 lobster tails) and the midnight buffets were amazing. The casinos were action packed and the shows were very entertaining. We didn't have time to visit all of the clubs on board but the ones that we made it to were comfortable and had plenty of staff to serve you your favorite beverage! The Captain's cocktail party was very nice and Carnival was very generous with the hors d'oeuvres and free cocktails.

The ports that we visited were exciting although we didn't feel like we had near enough time in Grand Cayman. My family has decided that the next time we visit Mexico, we will forget the shopping and spend more time at the beach. Some of the locals can be a bit over-bearing while trying to sell you their goods.

I'd also like to say that Abracadabra Cruises treated us with great care and attended to every detail. Our group can't wait to book our trip for next year! We will definitely use Abracadabra as they found us a great rate that included all the bells and whistles!
Thanks Abracadabra!

I just returned from a 5 day cruise to Cozumel on Carnival's Celebration.
It was awesome. The service was great, the crew was very courteous and the weather was beautiful.

Ship: Ocean Princess
Sailing Date: March 11, 2000
Itinerary: Southern Caribbean

After arriving at the dock, we were escorted to the check-in area. This was very fast and efficiently done. We received our room cards that also acted as our I.D. and charge card while on board.

After the photo op before boarding, we found our way to our cabins. We had two cabins w/verandas and two inside cabins directly opposite the others. The cabins are very well laid out and pleasantly decorated. There is plenty of storage room for two people and the closet has lots of wooden hangers. There is a safe provided for passenger’s use in every cabin.

We ate all evening meals in our restaurant: the Sardinian. The food at dinner was good. There were a few items that I would term as excellent.

There are two pools on the main deck with lots of deck chairs and tables nearby. We never had a problem finding a place to lounge in the sun.

Overall:
The cruise was a great deal of fun and Princess does a good job in many ways.

My family, including three children, just returned from a 4 day cruise on the MS Holiday. We had a fantastic time!!
It is an older ship that is kept in impeccable condition!! The staff was wonderful & the shows were first rate.

There were so many things for the children to do that they weren't bored in the slightest and the adults had some time to do our own things while the kids were being entertained at Camp Carnival.

The food was first class and the service was amazing. I highly recommend this cruise to parents, first time cruisers & cruisers on a budget.

The value was incredible. I couldn't have taken the kids anywhere with that kind of entertainment, food, accommodations & sights for the price that we paid.

The kids are already saving for a return trip.

I just returned from a seven day trip to New Orleans and Cozumel, aboard the Regal Empress.
The food and service was outstanding but best of all was the classic style and intimacy.
...By the way the entertainment was sensational.

No more big ships for me!
